An Official MS 150 Training Ride
Join the members of the Cannonballs Cycling Team for the 9th annual RIDE FOR PRIDE. This supported ride is designed for all levels of cycling enthusiast - from families and recreational riders to experienced distance challengers. Each rider is free to set their own pace, and select the distance they will be proud to complete. As in previous years, a portion of the proceeds will be donated to a charitable organization. See below for a list of our fundraising activities.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: ANSI or SNELL approved helmets are required for all riders
Saturday August 28, 2004, rain or shine. The 100k & 50k rides begin at 8:00a.m. The 16k ride begins at 9:00a.m.
Choose either a 100k, which is approximately 62 miles, a 50k, which is approximately 31 miles, or a 16k bike route, which is approximately 10 miles. All routes will be marked and volunteers will be stationed to guide and support you.
All riders will start and end at Liburdi Dimetrics, 404 Armour St., Davidson, NC
From Charlotte; travel I-77 North to EXIT 30 (Davidson/Davidson College; Turn RIGHT onto Griffith St. Turn LEFT onto Beaty St. Turn LEFT onto Armour. See MAP for additional details.
Trip For Kids
The Cannonballs Cycling Team has set a goal to support and participate with Trips For Kids. Trips for Kids Charlotte (TFKC) is a North Carolina Non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of at-risk kids. TFKC’s Ride Program takes at-risk kids on bike rides outside of their communities and environments to have fun and provide experiences that promote personal achievement and self-empowerment. Kids who benefit from TFKC’s Ride Program participate in Community Service/Education programs, which provide lessons in “personal responsibility” and “giving back.” TFKC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit For more information checkout TFKC’s web site at www.tripsforkidscharlotte.org.

Ten ($10.00) per person (Online Registration, check or money order) before August 26, 2004 or fifteen ($15.00) afterwards or day of ride. Kids under 12 years of age ride for free when accompanied by a paid adult rider (18 years of age or older).
Same-day registration and check-in starts at 7:15a.m. The Cannonballs Cycling Team will help provide a positive, memorable, and enjoyable experience by catering to your ride needs. Free water bottle, by 'Right Gear Bike Shop', until they run out.
Food and liquids will be available for riders to rest, refuel and recuperate.
SAG vehicles will cruise the course to support all riders and transport weary riders back to the starting point.
